I am a clinically trained  psychologist. I tailor therapy to your needs, and use techniques from Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Interpersonal therapy, Emotion-focussed therapy, Solution-focussed therapy, Ego State therapy, Brain Spotting, clinical hypnosis and mindfulness and acceptance approaches.

I work with adults: individuals and couples.

Individuals
The focus can be to reduce symptoms or to achieve deeper, more profound change. I particularly work with anxiety, panic, OCD, phobias, agoraphobia, acute stress, post-traumatic stress, childhood abuse / trauma (physical, sexual, emotional, spiritual), adjustment disorders and life-transitions, stress management, depression, grief and loss, low self-confidence, lack of assertiveness.

Couples
We will uncover your strengths and underlying negative patterns and work with your communication and the thoughts, emotions and behaviour, to adjust these to being more beneficial.

Face-to-face therapy sessions
Appointments are for 55 minutes, or can be 80 minutes for couples, and scheduled as often as you need to achieve your goals. They can be weekly initially and then less frequently to match your personal rate of healing, change and growth.

Payment is at each appointment and you can pay by cash, debit cards and credit cards.

Medicare refunds are available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year if you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your doctor, and are available from private health funds.
